Welcome to the Book Club

Hello and welcome to the Book Club Blog!
This is our high tech opportunity to stay in touch and talk about books. This is also an opportunity to voice talking points for our meetings. Finally this blog will be a way for me to let you know when meetings are coming up, when special events are happening, and for all of us to keep each other reading great books outside of school.

    Mr. Appleby. You are so cool. Thank you so much for being our advisor in book club and taking us to movies and giving us the opportunity to write long run on sentences that have no punctuation and you have nice hair and abs of steel.

    Okay now that so many of us have signed on and are posting like champions I have a few reminders and perhaps a few things to blog on about.
    1. Remember to come to the meeting next Thursday, we will discuss our upcoming trip to the movie theater
    2. We have just started to begin the discussion involving the Book Club Trip, it is possible that we will be going on another trip next year. You do not have to go on a trip to be in book club, obviously, but it is an option and if you ask around you'll hear mostly good things.
    3. We have lost our thread of discussion involving our books, so I am going to set up a post for several books, that will allow us to discuss each from the comfort of our own rooms.
    4. Angels and Demons is not a short book, if you haven't begun be sure to do so ASAP so that we can yell at the movie on the bus ride home.
